Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Spiral QR collects, uses, and protects information when you use our QR code software service.
1. Information we collect
We may collect account information such as your name, email address, login details, plan information, and settings. We also collect the QR code data you create, including destinations, labels, design choices, dynamic link settings, and export preferences.
2. Scan analytics
When a QR code is scanned, we may collect basic analytics such as scan time, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, browser, referrer, and the code scanned. We use this information to provide analytics, improve reliability, and detect abuse. We do not use scan analytics to identify individual visitors unless required for security or legal reasons.
3. Payments
Payments, invoices, tax handling, subscription management, and fraud checks may be processed by Paddle or another authorized payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Payment providers process payment data under their own legal and privacy terms.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and manage QR codes, provide dynamic links, process subscriptions, deliver support, prevent abuse, improve the product, secure the service, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important account or billing updates.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure product usage, protect accounts, and support payment or analytics features. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly without them.
6. Sharing information
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Spiral QR, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, email, payment, fraud prevention, and customer support providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the service, or payment networks.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or tax requirements, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and maintain backups. You may request deletion of your account, but some records may need to be retained where required by law, billing, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service is completely secure, so you should keep your password safe and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal data. To make a request, contact us using the email below.
10. Children
Spiral QR is intended for business and general productivity use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children where parental consent is required by law.
